1. Rubber release agent: refers to a class of substances used to prevent rubber products from sticking to the surface of the mold, and can make it smoothly out of the mold without tearing. It is sprayed or applied to the surface of the mold cavity to form an effective isolation layer. The main requirements of the release agent are: it has a certain thermal stability and chemical inertness, and does not corrode the surface of the mold cavity; Residual decomposition under the surface of the mold cavity; Does not affect the color of the product, but can give a good appearance, non-toxic; Easy to prepare and easy to use.

 

2. Fluorine release agent: fluorine release agent inherits the characteristics of fluorine-containing materials, can significantly reduce the surface energy of solids, making it difficult to infiltrate and non-adhesive, not easy to dissolve with other substances, a good solution to the bond problem between the finished product and the mold, when the release agent is prepared, the amount of fluorine-containing compounds is very small. It is suitable for thermosetting resin, thermoplastic resin and all kinds of rubber parts. The surface of the molded products is smooth and the secondary processing performance is excellent. It is especially suitable for the release of fine electronic parts.

 

3. Silicon release agent: silicone release agent is prepared from organic siloxane as raw materials, its advantages are good heat resistance, moderate surface tension, easy to form a uniform isolation film, long release life. The disadvantage is that there is a layer of oil on the surface of the product after stripping, and the surface of the secondary processing tag must be cleaned. Commonly used silicone oil, silicone rubber, emulsified silicone oil and silicone grease. Silicone release agent is the mainstream product in the middle market of rubber and plastic release agent at present, and it is widely used in the processing of polyurethane, rubber and other resins.


4. Wax (oil) release agent  :Wax oil series release agent is characterized by low price, good adhesion performance, the disadvantage is pollution mold, its main varieties are:
① Industrial Vaseline, directly used as release agent;
② Paraffin wax, directly used as release agent;
③ sulfonated vegetable oil, directly used as a release agent;

④Printing and dyeing oil (Turkish red oil, ancient oil), in 100 parts of boiling water added 0.9~ 2 parts of printing and dyeing oil made of emulsion, better than soapy water release effect;
⑤ Polyethylene glycol (relative molecular weight 200~ 1 500), directly used for rubber products.

 

5. Surfactant release agent: surfactant release agent is characterized by good isolation performance, but there is pollution to the mold. There are mainly the following categories:
① Soapy water, with soap into a certain concentration of aqueous solution, can be used as a lubricant for the mold, but also as a core stripping agent for the hose;
②  Sodium oleate, mix 22 parts of oleic acid with 100 parts of water, heat to near boiling, and then add 3 parts of caustic soda slowly, and stir to saponification, control the pH value of 7~ 9, when used, dilute by 1:1 water, when used for vulcanization and release of the tire, it is necessary to add 2 parts of glycerin to 200 parts of the above solution;

③Glycerin, can be used directly as a release agent or water tire lubricant.
④ Fatty acid aluminum solution, fat aluminum dissolved in dichloroethane into 1% solution, suitable for polyurethane products, coated once, can be repeated many times, good demoulding effect;
⑤ Zinc stearate is a release agent for transparent plastic products.

 

6. Internal release agent
① Zinc stearate, ammonium stearate, paraffin wax should be used as internal release agents;
② Mold Deli release agent, directly added to the compound for use.
