Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) Resin from China - Top Suppliers and Factory for High-Temperature Applications
Product Introduction
As a type of high heat and corrosion resistant material CPVE Resin has become an important engineering thermoplastic due to its relatively low cost, high heat distortion temperature, chemical resistance, outstanding mechanical property, dielectric property, flame and smoke resistance properties.
CPVC was first commercialized by Noveon in the early 1960s and has since proven its value in a variety of industrial applications in which a high use temperature and excellent resistance to chemical are desirable. It is widely used in production of fire safety pipe, hot and cold water pipe and chemical pipe & fittings, etc.
Used in hot and cold water delivery pipes and industrial liquid handling. Besides pipe and fittings, many other industrial fluid-handling product are available in CPVC, including pumps, valves , strainers, tower packing, and duct, as well as sheet for fabrication into tanks ,duct, and tank lining.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What are the primary advantages of CPVC Resin?
CPVC Resin offers excellent processability and stability, a high Vicat softening index (≥110ºC), superior electrical insulation properties, good impact strength, outstanding chemical and corrosion resistance, superior heat resistance, and low flammability.
Q2: What is the difference in application between CPVC-1000J and CPVC-700Z?
CPVC-1000J is an extrusion grade resin suitable for extruding heat-resistant pipes (e.g., hot-water, brine, chlorine gas, and electrical pipelines). CPVC-700Z is an injection grade resin used for molding various heat-resistant plastic products like hot-water tubes, brine tubes, and electric pipelines.
Q3: What are the key technical parameters of CPVC Resin?
Key parameters include a chlorine content of 66.8% to 67.2%, bulk density of 0.5 - 0.7 g/cm3, volatile matter ≤0.3%, a Vicat softening temperature ≥110ºC, and sieve residue (30 mesh) ≤1.0%. It appears as a white powder.
Q4: Where is CPVC Resin commonly applied?
It is widely used in sprinkler pipes, industrial heat-resistant pipes, indoor hot water supply pipes, outdoor air-conditioner duct covers, drainage/power cable joints, underground high-voltage power cable casings, transparent fittings, and heat-resistant industrial plates or flanges.
Q5: Can CPVC be used for products other than pipes and fittings?
Yes. Besides pipes and fittings, CPVC is utilized in other industrial fluid-handling products such as pumps, valves, strainers, tower packing, ducts, and sheets for fabrication into tanks and tank linings.
