Chlorinated Polyethylene is a high molecular polymer material made from HDPE through chlorination.The special molecular structure gives CPE many superior physical and chemical performances that makes CPE can be widely used in PVC, engineering plastics (CPE resin series )and Rubber applications (CM Rubber series).


As one of the most important impact modifier in the universal plastics market, CPE is widely used in processing of PVC extrusion and injection molding products ,including rigid PVC profile, pipes, pipe fittings,sheets and panels. It can greatly enhance the impact strength of the rigid PVC products and give the products an excellent low-temperature performance, excellent weather resistance. Some customers are also use it for formulations of PE or PP plastic products with proper amount.

    Compared with other impact modifiers like AIM (Acrylic Impact Modifier), MBS and ABS, CPE is more competitive in its comprehensive performances and price. 

    CPE is favored by more and more customers and it is expanding to bigger share of the impact modifier market.

    CPE is suitable for substitution of Acrylic impact modifier (AIM) or blending with Acrylic impact modifier (AIM) with a certain percentage without adjusting the processing data and the formulation, resulting in an optimum performance and cost-effective solution.

    Product application

    FINE CPE can not only greatly enhance the impact modification performance,In particular low-temperature performances, weather-ability for soft PVC product but also give a higher welding strength of the final products and promote the rapid plasticization of PVC.

    The special molecular structure makes FINE CPE series can be used directly for soft PVC products as a elastomer and give the fine products a superior weather-ability and better service life.
    ◆ Flame Retardant ABS application
    With its excellent flame retardancy and fluidity,FINE CPE can replace some plasticizers as permanent plasticizers for some PVC products and will not get migrated and volatilized even at high processing or service temperature.
    Addition of certain percentage of FINE CPE into flame retardant ABS formulation will not only avoid using of big amount of inorganic flame retardants in the formulation, which causes physical performance lost, but also will play positive role in enhancing the flame retardancy of the whole system and substantially improve the impact strength of the end product by its High impact modification performance, high filling efficiency.
